A long time ago, before she became a demon angel, Kirame was a normal being. Since she was a little child, she wasn’t able to feel something like happiness and she couldn’t enjoy anything. The only emotion she ever felt was hate. She hated everything and everyone in the world. But why was she so full of hate and anger? Was there no way she could feel anything else? Even the people of her hometown noticed that there was something wrong with her and the children were scared of her. But she never spoke with anyone. She didn’t want friends Kirame often thought about it and got the idea that she might become able to feel happiness when she destroys everything she hated. So she became a silent killer, took a knife and killed the population of the whole village. This place became Lost Village.

Even after the massacre was done and Kirame was surrounded by corpses, she still didn’t feel satisfied. Her heart was still filled with wrath and she started to realize that she caused an unnecessary massacre. As long she was alive, there would never be any happiness in her life, no light and also no hope. So used her knife to commit suicide to release herself from hate. But instead finding peace after death, she became a dead demon angel and was forced to continue to exist in this form from now on.

Kirame spent a long time with cursing people to destroy their lives. It was the only entertainment for her and the world became her own playground. It was funny to see how a simple curse could change the whole personality of other beings. So she even attacked the unicorn Yume and cursed her and watched how this magical creature lost her innocent mind, betrayed her own village and tortured the people with terrifying nightmares.

A thousand years later the dead demon angel had a fateful meeting with a human. The boy was suffering from a very bad illness and was about to die. She watched Angeliana who tried to help him though he refused and becoming even more despaired. For the very first time in her life, Kirame believed to feel something else than just wrath and hate. But since she never experienced any other feelings, she couldn’t understand what happened to her. She got obsessed by this boy and didn’t want to leave without him. When she watched him suffering agony, she waited until Angeliana left the house to get some medicine. She offered him to save his life but he has to become her master in exchange. After she stabbed him with her knife, she poisoned him with her blood and transformed him into a demonic being while her left wing disappeared during the ritual.

But the transformation was extremely painful for this boy. He cried in agony and suffered from severe spasms and unbearable pain in his back. A new wing grew on Kirame’s back and she could see a similar process on Akito’s body. A demon wing and the black wing of a dark angel pierced his skin and he lost a lot of blood. When he was lying down, exhausted and weakened because of his severe injuries, Kirame gave him a new name: Akira Kurogane.

After suddenly losing contact with Akira, Kirame is confused to see him in this state again. But more surprisingly is his question if she can turn him back into a human again. She hesitated and wasn’t sure if he also knew about the consequences, because he will die if she turns him into a human again. But Akito was still determined to stop her before he becomes a human again and refused to give up after he got encouraged by Angeliana before. Thinking about losing her master to a shaman and an angel enraged Kirame even more and so she decides to force Akito to become her master again. And if he still refuses, she will kill his fellows and curse him again.


Miko: “There you are! You should better give up or we’ll take you down once and for all.”

Kirame: “Oh, a shaman and an angel want to fight me? You can’t be serious… And what did you do to Master Akira?”

Akito: “It’s over. Akira doesn’t exist anymore and I’m here to ask you if you can transform me back into a human!”

Kirame: “Did you really believe it’s that easy? You will die if I do this. No… you shall never become a human again. I will turn you back after I killed your fellows.”

Miko: “We’ll see! I defeated Akira and so many wannabe world dominators in the past, you will be just another number on the list.”

Tenshi: “And I won’t let you hurt Akito anymore. Don’t dare to even think about it!”

Kirame: “You hate me, don’t you? You want to kill me, right? I know this feeling. Since I was born I hated everything and hate is the only emotion I’ve ever felt. I hate the warm light of the sun, the cold darkness of the night, the laughter of children and the silence of the dead. Everything in this world deserves to die. All what’s born or created deserves to get destroyed. So I don’t even need a reason to hate you.”



After the fight is finally over, Kirame is injured and weak. Her leg is broken and she doesn’t even have the strength to hold her knife. She realizes that she lost and tries to escape before her enemies get the chance to kill her. But Akito stops her. Even after all she did to him, he still believes that there might be a chance to save her from her own darkness and change her heart. He takes her knife but doesn’t kill her. Instead of doing this, he has something he wants to ask her.



Kirame: “What… what do you want from me?”

Akito: “Can you cut my demon wings away, please?”

Kirame: “But… master…”

Akito: “I’m sorry, but I’m not your master anymore. My name is Akito and not Akira. I don’t want this anymore. I want to live together with people and not hurt them. So I have to leave you forever…”

Kirame: “But… you can’t do this. You have to stay here! I need you. Please don’t leave me!”

Akito: “Sorry, but there is no way I will become Akira again. I finally found a very kind girlfriend after all. She made me very happy and she gave me hope that I can be more than just a demon.”

Kirame: “No… this can’t be… What the heck did just happen to you? I… I don’t understand it…”

Akito: “Kirame, please. I know that you can change. There is something good inside of you.”


Kirame can’t believe how much her beloved master changed and runs away, injured and brokenhearted. Akito tries to stop her, but it’s useless. So the only thing he could do was destroying her knife and hoping that Kirame will get delivered from her inner darkness someday.
